The Howdy Du is a 3M Run/17M Bike/3M Run. The race will be held at an exciting new venue, Berry Springs Park in near Georgetown. Williamson County’s Berry Springs Park and Preserve is located on 300-acres along Berry Springs between I.H. 35 and C.R. 152 with the main entrance off of C.R. 152. Berry Springs Park and Preserve is utilized for passive recreational uses including camping, hiking and fishing. The park features a 2.5 mile hike/bike trail that will eventually connect to Georgetown Parks and Recreation trails.

 
This is a USAT sanctioned event and all USAT Duathlon rules apply: especially no drafting, no headphones, no riding on your bike w/o a helmet, no exceptions for Dads! You must have a USAT membership or purchase a one day membership for $10.00. You may purchase a one day membership when you pick up your packet.
 
This event is smack dam in the middle of summer, so be prepared to toast your buns; wear sunscreen, bring extra fluids (there will be aid stations on the course throughout the race) and dress accordingly.
 
POST-RACE Refreshments include a country breakfast from Galaxy Cafe, as well as ICE COLD ONES (water and soft drinks). Come prepared to enjoy the park to it's fullest. It's a wonderful place to spend the day and relax!!!  Click here for map of the park.
